The newest member of our family, Aurora Kathryn, is now 2 and a half months old and growing up super fast! She is a real joy and a beautiful addition to our family. She had her first giggle yesterday (See link below) and it was ADORABLE! She is a great sleeper, which helps mommy out alot, and usually only wakes up once through the night.
Alex is 3 now!! ACK, I have a 3 year old! I still can't believe how big he is. He is crazy, and 3! He is so sweet with his new little sister and truly loves her. He smothers her in kisses every day, and takes great joy in her in general. He is so smart, and amazes me every day at the things he knows. He is well versed in using a computer, and plays his own games on a regular basis. He is also starting to READ! Holy Hannah! He knows all of his letter sounds and, other than confusing C and K, he can tell you what letter most words start with. I am looking forward to watching him grow and see where his life takes him.
Apollo is currently at BNCOC, an Army school, training. He got promoted to E-6, staff sergent, last year. And is currently NCO-IC of his Dixie band and here in Japan. Which he loves, of course. The joy of being stationed here in Japan, he gets to perform alot.
Me, well I'm doing the Mommy thing. Keeping up with two kidlets has been challenging, but so rewarding. I can't imagine my life without these perecious angels in it. I have truly been blessed in more ways then I can count. Being stationed in Japan has been very hard for me. I miss my family so much. But, I have made a few great friends here that have really helped me survive. Still, I am looking forward to flying home in just 17 days! I can't wait to be in the states again for soooo many reasons.
